Backend Web Developer Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Web Developer to support the development of our Business Intelligence dashboard. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing the backend functionality of our system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create server-side logic and services using ASP.NET to power web applications.
  • Integrate applications with databases, design schemas, and ensure data security and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end components.
  • Implement secure user access controls and data protection mechanisms.
  • Optimize code and database queries for speed, scalability, and resource efficiency.
  • Develop error handling, logging, and monitoring solutions for proactive issue resolution.
  • Apply security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities like SQL injection and XSS.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of server-side functionalities.
  • Use Git or similar tools for code management and collaboration.
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and code reviews to identify and fix issues.
  • Design scalable architecture to handle increased traffic and user loads.
  • Stay updated with emerging web technologies and ASP.NET advancements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Mid-weight backend engineer experience.
  • Experience building backend API features and endpoints.
  • Working in a containerized microservices environment and designing distributed systems using an API-first approach.
  • Experience with SQL databases (such as PostgreSQL) and other types of data stores.
