About the Role

  • Lead and mentor a team of senior backend engineers to drive technical excellence and innovation.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex backend applications using Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions and ensure system scalability, performance optimization, and high availability.
  • Owning the backend infrastructure including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2.0, JWT, etc.).

Requirements

  • 12+ years of backend development experience using Python and related frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and project delivery.
  • Strong expertise in building and scaling RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with message queues/brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices, authentication, and data protection.
  • Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
