Job Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable backend software solutions using Java, Python and Golang.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement RESTful web services and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance database systems using MySQL/Postgres and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, HDFS and Elasticsearch.
  • Work with Apache Kafka, Apache Storm and Apache Spark to build real-time data processing pipelines.
  • Implement optimal multithreaded applications using Java and Python.
  • Develop strong expertise in Linux and Unix operating systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and contribute to the development of new features and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend software development.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, Golang, MySQL/Postgres, Cassandra, HDFS, Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Spark.
  • Strong understanding of Linux and Unix operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
