Database Professional Opportunities

As a seasoned database professional, you will play a pivotal role in the development and support of web applications and services for our business partners. Your expertise in Oracle and PL/SQL will drive technology advancements, enable data management, and enhance application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead expert for Oracle and PL/SQL, participating in coding and enhancements
  • Tune, script, and extract, transform, and load data
  • Support daily business operations-related systems
  • Run systems manually for exception cases
  • Development and support of applications and services as specified by our business partners
  • May serve as technical project lead
  • Drive technology roadmap and make technology recommendations using research, proof of concept, spike testing

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of database development experience (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL)
  • Hands-on experience in database design
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle database architecture and overview of object-oriented programming in Oracle database
  • Practical creation and implementation of data models
  • Familiar with database management programs (TOAD, SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced oral and written English

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to powerhouse or any other 4GL language
  • Core Java is an added advantage
