Job Title: Oracle Apps DBA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
  • Monitoring application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc.
  • Maintenance of backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Database design and implementation.
  • Implementation and maintenance of database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
  • Work as part of a team and provide 24/7 support when required.
  • Perform general technical troubleshooting and provide consultation to development teams.
  • Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
  • Patch management and version control.
  • Database and application tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Environment cloning from PROD.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials.
  • Experience with Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c.
  • Experience with Demantra Administration.
  • Knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Linux scripts.
  • Oracle Access Manager integration with EBS and Demantra (a plus).
  • Wide knowledge of general database skills.
  • Knowledge in any of the following is a plus:
  • DB2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle GoldenGate
