Job Description- We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our team, responsible for analyzing short- and long-term forecasting, trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line and strategic sales goals.
- You will analyze and monitor marketing channels, key and other account production, ensuring that all major channels of distribution effectively support the product and maintain rate parity.
- Review future booking & evaluate trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Update all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventory restrictions.
- Work with each region to develop region-specific strategies to ensure growth, establishing appropriate goals and benchmarks to effectively measure performance.
- Monitor and analyze the competition weekly through various channels, internet, news reports to identify selling strategies and emerging trends.
- Explore and provide variations in the market mix which would stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs.
- MBA / Post Graduate in Finance & Revenue Management preferred.
- A minimum of ten years experience with travel / airline/ hotel industry & with three to five years in Revenue Management.
- Knowledge of hospitality sales, marketing and other revenue management functions to include research, planning, market positioning, market segments, internal marketing, distribution channels, sales management, reservations and yield management.
- Excellent oral and written communication & organization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
