Murex Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Murex test engineer to lead our testing efforts. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Murex architecture and workflows, as well as hands-on experience with automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Automated Test Scripts: Create automated test scripts for Murex modules, including Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and Interfaces.
  • Perform Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing: Use automation tools to perform testing and ensure system behavior meets requirements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Implement Automation Frameworks: Ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts.
  • Defect Tracking and Retesting: Track defects, log issues, and retest in coordination with development teams.
  • Participate in Test Planning and Execution: Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution cycles.
  • Ensure Compliance with Testing Standards: Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ Years of Experience: In Murex testing and automation.
  • Hands-On Experience: With Murex automation tools and scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar).
  • Strong Understanding: Of Murex architecture and workflows (FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces).
  • Proficiency: In SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation.
  • Experience: With test management tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
