Job Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive Murex activities and projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements, conduct impact analysis, develop solutions, and provide support for change requests, projects, and new product development.
  • Adhere to project processes.
  • Offer production support and participate in implementation projects in Murex Datamart/ Interface Streams.
  • Develop expertise and contribute to the build of Murex Interface/ Reporting solutions.
  • Design Trade workflows and interfaces to establish communication between external platforms and Murex to receive trade and other data feeds, process them, save into the system, and send an acknowledgement. Utilize a combination of MxML Exchange, MxOpenConnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart to successfully deliver such solutions.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients, ensuring successful follow-up of issues from notification to resolution and validation.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end configuration management packages, including Install, Deploy, and Test Murex Packaged interfaces like MDIT (market data interface tool), Markitwire, BSMT, and MarkitCredit to receive live and end-of-day data from external providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, etc...
  • Collaborate with various teams to deliver the right solution to clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in Murex on Datamart and Interface Datamart - Reports Development, Batch of Feeders/ extractions OR Interface - MxML Interface, Workflow.
  • Experience in build configuring and testing of Reports/ Interface.
  • Good understanding of Murex DataModel, Dynamic Tables, and Viewers.
  • Hands-on experience with Murex MxML Exchange.
  • Solid programming skills with Java (Apache Camel).
  • Familiarity with SQL, XML, Linux, Unix system commands, and Shell Scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to handle multiple projects, priorities, and manage business expectations.
  • Customer-driven, able to work within a team environment, and focused on providing a high-quality service to the customer.
  • Strong and demonstrable problem-solving and analytical skills.
