We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to lead our SDR team in Boston. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales activities, ensuring pipeline growth in designated territories, and managing a team of 6 Sales Development Representatives. Key responsibilities include hiring, coaching, and performance management, as well as working closely with sales and marketing to enhance sales outreach activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in developing successful sales teams. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in our rapid growth and contribute to achieving outbound and inbound sales targets. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing a team of 6 Sales Development Representatives to drive sales activities and ensure pipeline growth in designated territories.
  • Hiring, coaching, and performance management of team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Working closely with sales and marketing teams to enhance sales outreach activities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Collaborating with business development and sales operations teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Development Manager with a background in sales or a similar closing position.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to hold team members accountable for results.
  • Solid understanding of reporting, forecasting, and B2B sales processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and experience in the IT sector and B2B sales or customer support.
  • Project management skills and knowledge of sales KPIs evaluation.
