BIM Strategy and Execution

Develop and oversee the implementation of BIM strategy, processes, and quality on all projects while working closely with project stakeholders.

  • Develop and supervise project staff and processes related to the implementation of BIM for project controls.
  • Drive automation processes and coordinate the review and validation of construction models (including 4D/5D contractor model submittals).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project teams by providing and formatting information from virtual models throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Coordinate the development and functionality of complete model life cycles (3D, 4D, and 5D) including model integration and visualization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years of total experience with 10+ years in Electrical Substations (Plant) and 5+ years in UK substations (Plant)
  • Good understanding of common data environment platforms (BIM 360, ACC, ProjectWise).
  • Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in Bentley, Synchro Pro, and other tools is an added advantage.
  • Experience in managing a team of BIM modellers and international delivery preferably UK.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the development of 3D models for visualization and design exposure to 4D models linked to project schedules for simulation and 5D models to support estimating efforts.
  • Experience with the development of BIM execution plans and good collaboration, presentation, and communication skills.
