Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical assistance to resolve end-user issues via phone, email and web portal.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding of new hires with systems and setup.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet service level agreements.
  • Utilize remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices.
  • Install antivirus software and maintain virus definitions.
  • Administer servers via Active Directory, File and Print services, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Manage network firewalls and switches.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Foster positive relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety and security standards.
  • Design and architect robust network and server solutions.
  • Migrate on-premises servers and IT infrastructure to the cloud.
  • Implement advanced tools and processes to enhance cybersecurity protection.
  • Provide primary support for desktops, laptops, printers, and servers across Windows & Linux platforms.
  • Ensure seamless functioning of classroom IT systems.
  • Support and maintain Learning Management System platforms.
  • Assist with user account management, email setup, software installation, and IT troubleshooting.
  • Regularly monitor system performance and verify integrity and availability of hardware/software resources.
  • Provide basic network troubleshooting and support for routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Coordinate with senior support teams for complex issue escalation and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of assets, licenses, and configurations.

Requirements:

  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2022, and Mac OS.
  • Ability to create proposals for technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.
  • Remote monitoring and management (RMM) and professional services automation (PSA) experience.
