Prominent Engineering and Project Manager

About the Role:

The primary objective of this role is to lead a team of engineers in planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance projects across various infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of engineering principles, and experience in managing multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for all infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the work of junior engineers, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Plan, manage, and control inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies of spare parts and materials.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including department heads, HSE department, and other relevant parties, to ensure smooth project execution and address any concerns or issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering Degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams and achieving project goals.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, maintenance practices, and safety protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly.
