This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Premiere Account Manager (Business Development Manager) - Smart Homes, West in Mumbai with Signify. Smart Homes is the branded retail channel in the Consumer Business at Signify. Smart Homes team is responsible to drive sales for decorative, connected and IOT lighting through network of "Philips Smart Light Hubs" across India, and the influencer community of IDs and Architects.
Smart Homes is the key growth lever for Signify Greater India Business. The purpose of the job is to identify and generate new business areas/opportunities through acting as catalyst and initiator of new business development, which contributes to the growth of the business
The Business Development Manager identifies truly new portfolio opportunities, prepares proposals for management to get financial support to pursue these new opportunities and successfully launches and supports the realization of the approved business plan. If necessary, also involved in the realization of a new business line. The Smart Homes BDM shall be responsible for Influencer Managerment (Architects & Interior Designers) to drive sales in the region.
Generate new business ideas through independent scouting of internal and external sources, thus adding to the pipeline of unqualified business opportunities, which are out of scope for the existing Business Lines. More about you
