Senior Sales Engineer

Molex is a leading provider of electronic solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Sales Engineer.
About the JobWe offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, gathering market intelligence, and maximizing Molex's strategic supplier position. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop product and account strategies, and ensure that Molex pricing remains competitive in the market.
Key Responsibilities- Demand creation for assigned customers/industries/geographies
- Manage key accounts either directly or indirectly to establish Molex as the strategic supplier
- Gather market intelligence/competitor details on assigned customers/markets to maximize Molex's SAM shares on revenue and increase variable pocket margin value
- Establish Molex strategically as either #1 or 2 suppliers among all assigned customers
- Maximize Molex BOM value content
- New customer development
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years of related electronic sales experience with front-end design experience
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Strong organizational skills to anticipate, prioritize, and plan to achieve needed results
- Self-starter
- Good interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts
- Strong technical background
- Proactive mindset
- Familiarity with Molex products and services
- Experience in sales and marketing in the electronics industry
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
