The role of a Senior Business Development Manager involves driving new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and contributing to revenue growth.
- Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through various channels.
- Outreach & Prospecting: Initiate contact with decision-makers to introduce solutions and assess needs.
- Qualify Leads: Engage prospects to understand challenges, budget, and timelines; pass qualified opportunities to the sales team.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and share insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
- Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed KPIs such as calls, emails, meetings booked, and opportunities created.
Required Skills:
- 2-5 years experience in BDR, SDR, Inside Sales, or similar role (B2B experience preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Ability to handle objections and maintain professionalism.
- Time management and organizational skills.
