Java Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level technical support for Java-based applications, including expertise with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, prototype, and AngularJS.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, ensuring seamless integration with various systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop single-page applications using AngularJS, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, leveraging exposure to Node.js and other emerging technologies to enhance our capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of user-centered design principles, fostering an environment that prioritizes usability and UI excellence.
  • Utilize your expertise in Java, familiarity with design patterns, and experience working with REST-based web services to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Lead the implementation of unit testing and build processes, ensuring efficient deployment of Java web applications on JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, GlassFish, or WebSphere.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards and best practices, possessing a minimum of 4-6 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a support environment.
