We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Business Development Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting for potential new clients and turning it into increased business.
- Cold calling as appropriate within a defined market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Holding regular connections with potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging existing client networks.
- Identifying potential decision-makers within the client organization.
- Researching and building relationships with new & existing clients.
- Setting up meetings between client decision-makers and the organisation's practice leaders.
- Identifying opportunities through online marketing campaigns, client references, and other networking channels, which will lead to an increase in sales.
- Working on new sales strategies, approaches, and pitches along with his/her team.
- Building a business proposal for any new/prospective client based on their requirements, concerns, and objectives.
- Participating in pricing the solution/service.
- Forecasting sales targets and ensuring they are met by the team.
- Tracking and recording activity on all potential clients and helping to close deals to meet the annual sales target.
- Providing business development training and mentoring to new hires in his/her team.
Requirements
- A strong track record of business development and sales success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
