Senior Financial Manager

We are seeking a seasoned senior financial manager to lead our family office in managing our diversified portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, investment management and financial analysis. They will be responsible for conducting equity research, executing put option orders, facilitating investment-related communications with top private banks, managing a portfolio of private equity fund investments, setting up relationships with asset management companies, dealers, brokers and banks, making asset allocation decisions and investing across all asset classes, advising on overall fund performance and sectoral insights, generating new ideas, evaluating them and recommending to the investment committee and negotiating with general partners to optimize returns and align interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the chairman in managing a diversified portfolio
  • Conduct equity research and execute put option orders
  • Facilitate investment-related communications with top private banks
  • Manage a portfolio of private equity fund investments
  • Set up relationships with asset management companies, dealers, brokers, and banks
  • Make asset allocation decisions and invest across all asset classes
  • Adviser on overall fund performance and sectoral insights
  • Generate new ideas, evaluate them, and recommend to the investment committee
  • Negotiate with General Partners to optimize returns and align interests
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, financial performance, and profitability
  • Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with employees, clients, and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years+ experience in Finance, Equity Market, specializing in investment management and financial analysis
  • Deep knowledge of the commodity sector and ability to understand its pulse
  • Strong analytical mindset and passion for investing
  • MBA in Finance, CA or CFA or similar certifications preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and market analysis
  • Experience interacting with senior management, clients, and institutional investors
