General Manager/Assistant General Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our leasing operations team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage complex lease transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaison Role: Facilitate all leasing-related activities from inception to close, encompassing site visits, negotiations, documentation, coordination, and administration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between in-house personnel, tenants, external counsel, architects, consultants, brokers, and municipalities to navigate, organize, track, and support leasing processes.
  • Operational Management: Oversee and direct daily leasing operations in accordance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Negotiation and Review: Conduct thorough reviews and negotiations of lease transactions and agreements.
  • Paperwork and Compliance: Ensure timely completion of necessary paperwork and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends for competition.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: PGDM/MBA degree
  • Certification (Optional): Certification in retail leasing
  • Work Experience: 5+ years in leasing operations or a related field
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills to persuade prospective brands
