Senior Audit Associate Position

This role is ideal for individuals with strong public accounting and audit expertise working under external audits of US GAAP or IFRS or UK GAAP clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and maintain productive working relationships with audit clients and engagement teams.
  • Direct field work and inform engagement leaders of audit engagement status in a timely manner.
  • Complete audit procedures and documentation for higher risk areas to expand your technical skills.
  • Contribute ideas and opinions to the audit teams.
  • Develop an understanding of service offerings related to audits.
  • Prepare draft financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, and UK GAAP (FRS 102).
  • Ensure all work papers are complete, consistent, and contain procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached with appropriate documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 1-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar audit practice firm.
  • Experience working with Big 4 or Big 10 will be advantageous.
  • Graduate degree with approximately 1-5 years of relevant work experience in fields of statutory audits under US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Experience in accounts preparation under FRS 102 and relevant applicable standards will be advantageous.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
