Job Title: Compliance Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Specialist with expertise in auditing and financial analysis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and US GAAS, with a focus on commercial and construction industries.

  • Conducting audits of financial statements in conformity with relevant accounting standards
  • Leading a team of accounting and auditing experts
  • Independently conducting research on accounting and auditing matters
  • Developing and maintaining working relationships with peers, supervisors, and colleagues
  • Analyzing presentation and disclosure impacts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in auditing and financial analysis
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or other qualified professionals in accounting and tax fields
  • Knowledge of Caseware and Caseview preferred
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience in general commercial industry, with a preference for candidates with construction industry experience and background in reviews and compilations
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Willingness to learn new software
  • Quick learner, enthusiastic attitude, and a team player
