Job Title: Equity Researcher

Description:

  • A highly skilled professional is required to analyze investment opportunities and provide recommendations to the valuation committee.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Investment Operations, with a strong background in quantitative analysis.
  • We are seeking a candidate who can work independently and as part of a team to perform market research and summarize qualitative and quantitative aspects of deals.
  • The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in business intelligence tools such as QuickSight or PowerBI.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for deal analysis, loan portfolio purchases, credit facilities, forecast modeling, cumulative collections curves, runoff models, and other specialty finance opportunities.
  • The successful candidate will assist the FinOps team and Valuation Committee in updating valuation models, monitoring covenants, audit support, and reviewing draw requests for compliance, and performing data and calculation audits on a rotating quarterly schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze investment opportunities and provide recommendations to the valuation committee
  • Perform market research and summarize qualitative and quantitative aspects of deals
  • Update valuation models and monitor covenants
  • Review draw requests for compliance and perform data and calculation audits
  • Assist the FinOps team and Valuation Committee in their responsibilities
