Job Title: Software Engineering Leader

We are seeking an accomplished software engineering leader to drive the success of our teams.

  • Expertise in computer science concepts and a proven ability to provide technical guidance and feedback.
  • Success in working with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products, ensuring that software development remains under control and on track.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical descriptions into concise language.
  • Ability to lead by example, taking individual contributor work seriously and demonstrating a commitment to teaching best practices.
  • Proven ability to make great hiring decisions, as evidenced by the performance of developers on the team.
  • Capacity to make informed decisions for multiple development teams or functional areas.
Requirements:
  • 18-20 years of experience leading software development teams, providing coaching, mentoring, setting goals, and recruiting talent.
  • Programming and domain experience with AdTech systems, including distributed systems with high quality, performance, and reliability.
  • Experience handling ADSDK and client-side apps.
  • Data platform experience, including file-based workflows for large data processing and storage.
  • 5+ years of programming experience using Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in disparate technologies, ranging from front-end user interfaces to back-end systems and all points in between.
  • Knowledge of large-scale application architecture, design, implementation, and performance tuning.
  • Experience in modern DevOps/SRE practices such as CI/CD, performance monitoring & incident management.
  • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
