Lead Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative software solutions and related features.

  • This position requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • You will play a key role in enhancing our capacity to deliver high-quality software products that meet customer needs.
  • A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of computer technologies and exceptional software engineering skills.

About the Role:

  • Project Planning: Participate and play a critical role in planning project deliverables.
  • Software Development: Own and drive software design, development, verification, and release of products to customers.
  • Team Management: Perform individual goal planning and evaluation in accordance with company policies.
  • Team Health: Maintain the health and morale of the team.
  • Skills Growth: Develop and grow the engineering skills of the team.
  • Critical Issues: Drive critical issues and interface with cross-functional teams.
  • Updates: Provide periodic management/executive updates.
  • Brainstorming: Lead brainstorming sessions.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Experience in a hands-on software engineering, development, and/or architectural leadership role.
  • Software Fundamentals: Solid knowledge of software and systems design fundamentals.
  • Programming Skills: Strong Python and C/C++ programming skills and Linux and Windows operating system knowledge.
  • Embedded Programming: Embedded Programming knowledge and skills desired.
  • FPGA/SoC: Experience with FPGAs and Adaptive SoCs desired.
  • Engineering Execution: Consistent record in engineering execution, delivery software on time with high quality and achieving premium high-performance software solutions.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of planning and delivering complex system software products.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
  • Motivation: Self-motivated with an ability to multi-task.

Academic Credentials:

  • Degree: Bachelors or masters degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
