Job Title: Portfolio Manager Insurance

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage a portfolio of captive insurance clients and provide technical insurance support across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Prepare financial statements, client financial and management accounting. Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payment of premiums.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage and oversee regulatory and compliance issues related to captive insurance.
  • Client Support: Respond to and follow up on queries by captive account-holders.
  • Reporting: Prepare Board Packs and client benchmarking analysis, including financial and management reports.

Key Activities:

  • Accounting and Financial Activities: Plan and carry out different accounting and financial activities like budgeting, forecasting, investment reconciliations, cash flow statement & bank account reconciliation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare Trial Balance, Income statement and Balance Sheet for Captive Insurance clients. Calculate the unearned / un-expensed reinsurance reserve and Allocated Investment Income.
  • Administrative Tasks: Post journals, prepare reconciliation and review of balances. Update notes to accounts if and when required.
