Investment Debt Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Debt Specialist to join our team. This is a client-focused role, working closely with our Investment Team, identifying and nurturing new business opportunities in the private debt space.

Job Summary:

  • Build strong relationships with clients and lender partners to facilitate debt financing placements.
  • Draft high-quality client business overviews and Investment Memoranda (IM's), reviewing financial information and analysis of financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including 3-way models (P&L, Cashflow, Balance Sheet).
  • Coordinate lender interactions with clients, maintaining project plans and adhering to internal service level agreements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product offerings, effectively communicating value propositions to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive client engagement approaches.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced financial modeling, cash flow, and financial statement analysis expertise.
  • Preparing high-quality marketing, investment, and credit papers with concise synthesis of diverse information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for strong relationship-building.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business finance or related field.
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification desirable.
