Executive Culinary Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Culinary Director to lead the culinary team at our high-end standalone restaurant & bar in Indiranagar. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in authentic Italian gastronomy, menu innovation, and kitchen management.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and curating an authentic, contemporary Italian menu with a focus on high-quality ingredients and modern presentation. This includes innovating and introducing seasonal dishes while maintaining classic Italian flavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative menu concepts that showcase traditional and modern Italian cuisine
- Lead and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high culinary standards, hygiene, and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to enhance the guest dining experience through exceptional quality control and consistency across all dishes
Requirements:
- 10-20 years of experience in Italian cuisine at high-end standalone restaurants or luxury hotels
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Italian culinary techniques, including pasta-making, wood-fired pizzas, seafood, and artisanal Italian dishes
- Exceptional leadership, creativity, and a deep passion for Italian food
Culinary Leadership:
- Inspire and motivate the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement in the kitchen
Kitchen Operations:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality control
- Maintain accurate inventory management, food cost control, and vendor relationships
Team Management:
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to excellence
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
