Job Title: Senior Compensation Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organization as a Senior Compensation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality compensation solutions to clients across various industries.

Main Responsibilities
  • Compensation Design: Work with clients to design and implement effective compensation structures, including pay ranges, pay structuring, pay mix, and benefits design.
  • Annual Pay Review and Bonus Processes: Play a key role in delivering annual pay review and bonus processes at client organizations.
  • Statutory Compliance and Market Trends: Ensure alignment with statutory compliance and stay up-to-date with market practices and developments.
  • Market Benchmarking and Advisory: Conduct compensation and benefits market benchmarking, trends, and advisory services.
  • Job Evaluation and Leveling: Evaluate and level jobs to ensure fair and equitable compensation practices.
  • Cycle Budgeting and Execution: Manage annual compensation cycle budgeting, execution, and delivery.
  • Presentation and Communication: Present solutions and recommendations to clients in a structured and articulate manner.
  • Due Diligence and Program Implementation: Conduct due diligence for renewals and trends for insurance and employee wellness programs, and coordinate implementation with HR operations.
  • Benefits Partner Management: Liaise with benefits partners/vendors and work with other functions to execute benefits programs.
  • Rewards-Related Projects: Provide consulting advice on rewards-related projects and manage C&B project modules under guidance of C&B/POC leadership.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a compensation role, preferably with a mix of consulting and field experience.
  • Total Rewards Design Principles: Strong understanding of total rewards design principles and their application, along with business acumen.
  • Job Evaluation Frameworks: Familiarity with one or more leading job evaluation frameworks.
  • Annual Compensation Cycles: Experience in conducting annual compensation cycles.
  • Benefits Vendor Engagement: Experience in engaging with and onboarding benefits vendors.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Education and Certifications: University degree in HR (Masters/MBA preferred) and relevant certifications from recognized professional bodies.
