About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts across various jurisdictions, providing legal advice on contractual obligations, attending customer and vendor negotiation calls, handling data privacy matters, and drafting standard contract templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.
  • Review and analyze complex contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement contracting strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with global regulatory developments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.

Requirements:

  • Law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience in contract management.
  • Strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation.
  • Knowledge about SaaS contracts is an added advantage.
  • Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is an advantage.
  • Understanding of legal aspects related to employment contracts and related matters in India is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
