Job Overview

This role oversees sub-contract management for large fabrication packages, coordinating with project managers and directors.

Responsibilities include qualifying, tendering, and executing supplier contracts, as well as developing and negotiating detailed agreements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in fabrication contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the qualification, tendering, proposal management, and contract execution processes for suppliers.
  • Develop and negotiate comprehensive contractual agreements with suppliers and customers.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to manage day-to-day operations and third-party services.
  • Implement risk-aware contracting strategies based on informed execution models.
  • Transition sub-contracting strategies from back-to-back to informed risk distribution models.
  • Support bid teams in proposal development, risk identification, scope definition, and contractual negotiations.
  • Manage commercial risk across project scopes through regular risk review and reporting processes.
  • Support commercial operations for projects under existing agreements.
  • Contribute to the development of consortium agreements and support subsea and Fullstream commercial initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Procurement, or a related field in energy/commercial sectors.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication contract management in oil & gas or construction project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas contract terms, conditions, and negotiation practices.
  • Proven international commercial support experience within complex industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex contract issues and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with sound commercial judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
