Senior Production Executive Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Production Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading production activities, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and material requisitioning. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess production sheets to identify process improvements and optimize production schedules.
  • Develop and implement production plans, including creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and material requisitions.
  • Manage trials batches for new products to ensure registration compliance.
  • Evaluate equipment qualification processes, including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
  • Ensure routine production activities are performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Review and verify production documents against Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and GDP standards.
  • Support execution of qualification activities, including area, equipment, and process qualifications.
  • Review and update SOPs regularly to meet cGMP requirements.
  • Collaborate with consultants and agencies on project execution work and follow-ups.
  • Conduct FAT/SAT activities for new equipment/utility systems.
  • Install and qualify new equipment/systems in line with cGMP standards.
  • Maintain data integrity and quality policy/systems, and record keeping as per cGMP and GDP standards.
  • Ensure service contracts and correspondence documents are properly maintained.
  • Coordinate calibration activities for various instruments according to schedule.
  • Facilitate timely delivery of items with the purchase department.
  • Cultivate relationships with vendors/suppliers for technical discussions on equipment procurement, modification work, and spare procurement.
  • Effectively communicate day-to-day activities and issues to manufacturing staff for efficiency and performance improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex production data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with GMP and GDP regulations.
  • Experience in production planning, scheduling, and material requisitioning.
  • Knowledge of equipment qualification processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
