Job Overview

You will be a key member of the application support team, driving business continuity, IT professionalism, and user/business satisfaction by supporting strategic change and enhancing core applications.

Functional Area:
  • SAP Ariba
  • Strategic sourcing modules: SLP, Sourcing, Contracts
  • P2P: Guided Buying, Ariba Buying, Commerce Automation
  • SAP Ariba Network: all documents including electronic invoices
  • SAP Ariba CIG / Cloud Integration Gateway (basics)
  • SAP MM & PM
  • SAP FI & CO (basics)
Responsibilities:
  • Application, change, and project support responsibilities
  • Incident management: Keeping systems up and running, registering, monitoring, and resolving application-related tickets
  • Monitoring overall performance of application, responsible for integrity of production environment
  • Maintaining applications according to SLA and regional business needs
  • Standby for emergencies (24x7 availability schedule)
  • Operationalize priority setting as agreed with the business
  • Functioning as a 1st escalation point for vendors and users
  • Application maintenance related services
  • Signals deviations on policy, standard package matters, and contributes to changes
  • Ensuring IM process compliance for area of responsibility
  • Taking care of proper and updated documentation of the application
  • Keeping CMDB up to date for business processes and applications in scope
  • Executing changes and enhancements
  • Conducting tests as defined in an integration test specification
  • Analysing and supporting Key-users training needs
  • Periodically visiting customers to discuss tickets and wishes
  • Frequently contacting key users on open tickets
  • Co-responsible for ensuring applications function and operate appropriately
  • Supporting project handover activities
  • Participating in implementation improvements and optimization projects
  • Creating and checking content of transports
  • Playing an active role in the CAB / Change Advisory Board
  • Administering SAP Ariba & SAP Ariba Network configuration tables in SAP ECC
  • Configuring and reviewing SAP Ariba approval flow setups and data
  • Implementing further automation initiatives
  • Supporting complex seller integrations
Requirements:
  • Technical knowledge and skills
  • Professional experience with relevant Business Application, Platform, infrastructures, and relevant business processes
  • Familiarity with IT standards like ITIL, Cobit, CMM
  • Certification in system maintenance/configuration/customizing
Key Skills:
  • Awareness and knowledge of business processes related to standard packages or specific developments
  • Building strong relationships and having overall knowledge of IM/IT and SLAs
Personal Qualities:
  • Driving efficient results, customer focus, and ownership of incidents and problems
  • Working under close guidance and detailed work instructions, with prioritized work checked by manager
  • Team worker with good communication and interpersonal skills
