Technical Support Engineer Role

Job Summary:

In this pivotal role, you will be the key to ensuring seamless customer support. As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution, and staying up-to-date with product upgrades and hotfix lifecycles.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through effective analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop strong working relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive issue resolution.
  • Stay current with product knowledge and ensure smooth transitions during product upgrades and hotfix deployments.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Linux (various distributions) and Windows Server environments.
  • Strong background in managing, deploying, and applying hotfixes/patches for applications and web services.
  • Practical knowledge of shell scripting or Python for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with Cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, RHEL, AWS, or Azure are preferred.
Desirable Skills:
  • DevOps CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Supporting/troubleshooting java developed applications/products.
