The Commercial Role

This role is based in Gurgaon with travel to Bangkok expected. We are currently looking to grow our young Flights business into a market leader.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve short- and long-term goals
  • Oversee partners and performance in your market, including commercial negotiations, operations, pricing, and availability
  • Regularly interact with team members and stakeholders within the organization: Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Tax, providing partner, industry, market, and product insights
  • Maintain positive relations with air suppliers and key business partners overall
  • Holding end-to-end responsibilities with the partner
  • Detail-oriented and able to be deeply involved in understanding the needs
  • Able to negotiate, communicate, manage difficult conversations, and build strong relationships with partners
Requirements
  • Experience covering multiple aspects: Product knowledge, Operations, Commercial negotiations, or 6 years industry experience in multiple domains such as supply distribution, user experience, marketing, customer service, tax, legal, etc.
  • Proven ability to leverage analytics and data to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical skills, able to break down complex problems and drive change
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Demonstrable experience in developing strategic initiatives and end-to-end business plans
