Flight Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Flight Specialist to oversee end-to-end flight bookings, intricate itineraries, and exceptional client support across continents and carriers. Precision, optimal fares, and discreet handling are paramount.

This role requires expertise in managing flight bookings, exchanges, cancellations, and ticket issuance via GDS systems like Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo. The successful candidate will also be responsible for effortlessly handling complex multi-city, international, and round-the-world itineraries.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the travel business and operations, with commitment to SLA compliance and internal guidelines. Experience in private aviation, VIP handling, or complex fare structures is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage flight bookings, exchanges, cancellations, and ticket issuance via GDS systems
  • Handle complex multi-city, international, and round-the-world itineraries
  • Apply airline fare rules and interline agreements to deliver outstanding results
  • Process PNRs within defined SLAs, ensuring accurate documentation across systems
  • Coordinate fare optimization, refunds, and disputes with airline partners
  • Manage special requests: seat preferences, unaccompanied minors, meals, medical needs, and urgent issues
  • Lead Debit Memo Management: Investigate and respond to ADMs promptly, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to minimize ADM occurrences through staff training, documentation, and process improvements
  • Own BSP and ARC workflows with precision - from airline invoicing to reconciliation and reporting

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in flight ticketing for high-net-worth individuals, travel agencies, OTAs, or corporate desks
  • Proficiency in at least one GDS system (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo)
  • Deep understanding of international travel, fare construction, and route planning
  • Expertise in BSP, ARC, PNR management, ticket issuance, and airline invoicing
  • IATA Foundation or Consultant Certification required
  • Polished communication skills, attention to detail, and calm under pressure
  • Bonus: Experience in luxury travel, private aviation, or VIP ticketing
