Job Title: Senior Proposal Writer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Writer to join our team. As a Senior Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality proposals that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the federal government contracting process and experience in writing proposals for US Federal government contracts. You will work closely with our sales team to develop and implement account penetration strategies and account-specific sales plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write high-quality proposals that meet the requirements of US Federal government contracts.
  • Work closely with our sales team to understand customer needs and develop proposal responses that meet those needs.
  • Conduct research on customers and their industries to develop a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop proposal content.
  • Analyze and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other procurement documents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales and proposal writing, preferably in an IT services or staffing company.
  • Strong understanding of US Federal government contracting, including contract vehicles, GWACs, GSA platforms, and IDIQs.
  • Experience in RFP/RFI management and end-to-end sales life cycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
