Job Title

About the Role

This position involves designing and implementing data transformations and analysis for a trading platform. As a technology expert, you will lead in real-time stream processing paradigm.

You will implement an end-to-end platform service, assessing operations and non-functional needs clearly. Additionally, you will mentor and coach engineering talent to realize their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex end-to-end functional transformation modules from planning estimations to execution.
  • Improve platform standards by introducing new ideas and solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering technology and tools.
  • Experience with Java/Scala-based implementations for enterprise-wide platforms.
  • Expertise in Apache Beam, Google Dataflow, Apache Kafka for real-time stream processing technology stack.
  • Complex state-full processing of events with partitioning for higher throughputs.
  • Experience with analytical data store optimizations, querying, and managing them.
  • Experience with alternate data engineering tools (Apache Flink, Apache Spark etc).
  • Ability to reason and convince stakeholders about technical decisions.
