
Petroleum Vertical Expansion Manager

We seek an exceptional Business Development Head to spearhead the expansion of our petrochemicals vertical, focusing on oil rigs and exploration assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development for the petrochemicals vertical, prioritizing oil rigs and exploration assets.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic acquisition opportunities, particularly underperforming oil rigs in India and globally.
- Drive M&A strategy from target identification through due diligence, financial evaluation, negotiations, and integration.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets in coastal regions worldwide.
- Leverage existing networks and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the global petrochemical and oil exploration sector.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to execute deals efficiently.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify new growth avenues.
- Represent the organization at international forums, trade shows, and industry conferences.
- Align expansion strategies with overall business objectives by working closely with the leadership team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in the petrochemicals/oil & gas sector.
- Proven track record of deal-making, especially with international assets or companies.
- Deep understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, particularly rig operations.
- Strong global network in the petrochemical space, especially in coastal countries with active oil rigs.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- MBA or relevant technical qualification preferred.
