Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of a cybersecurity platform. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will build and scale a high-performing team, own end-to-end engineering execution, and lay the foundation for our product and culture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in system architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design, with experience delivering SaaS products in cybersecurity, cloud, or compliance. They should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and execute the engineering roadmap in alignment with company goals.
  • Build and scale a lean engineering team, hiring and mentoring talent.
  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable software products.
  • Establish best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, observability, and architecture.
  • Collaborate with founders, product, and design to translate business needs into technical execution.
  • Make technical decisions on architecture, tools, and platform design.
  • Set and track engineering KPIs for velocity, quality, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • At least 4+ years hands-on development.
  • At least 2–3 years in engineering management (team building, delivery).
  • Proven ability to hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent.
  • Experience delivering SaaS products (cybersecurity, cloud, or compliance preferred).
  • Strong foundation in system architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis, and scalable data modeling.
  • Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) or similar cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
