Senior Legal Associate Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Legal Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in litigation, corporate law, and a solid understanding of legal research tools.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in preparation for trials and hearings, including drafting Notices, Plaints, Written Statements, Synopsis, and organizing evidence and exhibits.
  2. Collaborate with external counsels on case strategy and pleadings, maintaining cause-lists tracker and keeping management updated on the status of cases.
  3. Maintain and organize legal files and documentation, attend hearings, and take adjournments/certified copies as needed.
  4. Co-ordinate the end-to-end process for Registration of Agreements in Sub Registrar's Office, peruse Notices received from customers or authorities and draft responses by coordinating with relevant departments.
  5. Actively coordinate with other functional areas for day-to-day legal matters such as issuance of notices, recovery of payments, disciplinary actions, etc.
  6. Stay updated on legal trends and developments relevant to practice areas by researching relevant statutes, regulations, and case laws.
Good to Have Experience:
  • Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and settling corporate agreements, preparing and discussing strategies with management and external counsels to defend the company's legal cases.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • LLB from a reputed college, 3-4 years of Litigations handling experience in a reputable law firm or in corporate.
