Job Title: Senior Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to lead the development of our microservices and cloud-native applications.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing scalable and high-performing code using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework JPA, and Spring Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development team in designing and implementing elegant solutions as part of a collaborative engineering process.
  • Ensure quality practices – unit testing, code reviews / leading tests.
  • Optimize application performance for non-functional requirements.
  • Build and deploy components as part of the CI/CD process.
  • End-to-end application delivery including coordination with required teams for production deployment.
  • Monitor application health and KPIs, support triage of any production issues.
  • Collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features, service, and platform issues.
  • Advocate for security best practices within engineering.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7-9 years of professional experience.
  • Experience working with Unit testing using frameworks like Junit, Mockito, JBehave.
  • Experience building and deploying services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
  • Mandatory knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships, and foster collaboration.
