Senior Java Developer Position

This is a senior-level role for a skilled Java professional who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development, as well as proficiency in Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Key skills required include expertise in backend architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, as well as hands-on experience with Docker, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Candidates should also possess experience in cloud-based deployments, preferably on Oracle Cloud or similar platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and knowledge of Git, version control workflows, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining secure backend applications, building and managing RESTful APIs and microservices, and leading the design of system architecture and database schema for complex, data-driven applications.

The successful candidate will also be able to continuously optimize code and infrastructure for performance, scalability, maintainability, and cost-efficiency, collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, QA, UI/UX, and product teams, and oversee integration with third-party services (payment gateways, banks, KYC/AML APIs).

They will also need to lead security planning, ensure adherence to industry security standards (OWASP, PCI-DSS), participate in code audits and threat modelling, perform and oversee code reviews, take ownership of CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance, and proactively monitor production systems and manage logs.
