Senior Academic Leader Job Description

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership in curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and academic planning to drive quality education and continuous growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and promote research, publications, and academic innovation among faculty and students.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills are essential to build a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Maintain discipline, grievance redressal, and code of conduct across the institution.
  • Drive quality enhancement through accreditation processes and implement continuous improvement in academics and infrastructure.
  • Student Support: Encourage extracurricular, co-curricular, and skill development activities, and ensure effective student support systems.
  • Build collaborations with industry, universities, and research organizations, and strengthen alumni relations and community outreach programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong track record of academic leadership, research, and innovation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
