Head of Retail Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned retail operations expert to drive business growth, profitability, and excellence in our retail segment. The successful candidate will lead franchise operations, identify new locations for store expansion, ensure operational efficiency, and build a high-performing retail team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead franchise operations and manage store expansion initiatives
  • Identify and evaluate potential properties/locations for new stores
  • Negotiate and finalize property lease agreements and franchise contracts
  • Oversee day-to-day retail operations across all stores
  • Implement operational policies, SOPs, and compliance standards
  • Monitor store performance, sales, and profitability
  • Lead, mentor, and manage regional/store managers and retail teams
  • Drive training and development programs to enhance performance
  • Foster a customer-centric culture across retail outlets
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends
  • Develop and execute retail expansion strategies to maximize market share
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in retail operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong background in franchise management and property acquisition
  • Proven ability in team handling, business expansion, and operational excellence
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
