Product Strategy Execution Lead

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to play a pivotal role in the execution of our product roadmap. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position where you will be instrumental in the smooth delivery of high-quality features on time.

As a Product Owner at our organization, you will be responsible for translating product strategy into a clear, actionable backlog. You will own and maintain the product backlog, creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria based on the product roadmap and business value.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog for your assigned team. This includes creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria based on the product roadmap and business value.
  2. Agile Execution: Act as the voice of the customer and the Product Manager within the sprint team. Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  3. Requirements Clarification: Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team's questions, providing clarification and a deeper understanding of user stories and business requirements.
  4. User Story Creation: Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories that include acceptance criteria and dependencies, ensuring engineers can build solutions with minimal ambiguity.
  5. Acceptance & Testing: Review and accept completed work, ensuring it meets the definition of done and the original requirements before it is released to QA or production.
  6. Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate effective communication between engineering, UX/UI, and the broader product team to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
  7. Technical Empathy: Understand the technical implications of product decisions and work with the engineering team to manage technical debt and ensure sustainable development practices.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience working directly with an Agile development team and managing a product backlog.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to translate complex product requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to unblock teams and keep projects moving forward.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Azure DevOps.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science).
