Product Merchant

The role of a Product Merchandising Specialist involves analyzing market trends, curating seasonal collections, and ensuring products meet customer demand and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Assortment Strategies: Create and implement product merchandising and assortment plans to drive sales and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with design, production, sales, and marketing teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
• Conduct Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors to inform product development and merchandising decisions.
• Curate Seasonal Collections: Balance classic and innovative styles to create visually appealing and commercially successful collections.
• Manage Inventory Levels: Ensure timely deliveries and minimal stock issues by maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Support Sales and Marketing: Provide product knowledge and merchandising tools to support sales and marketing efforts.
• Pricing and Positioning Strategies: Define pricing and positioning strategies based on cost and market analysis to maximize revenue and profitability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3–5 years' experience in product merchandising (jewelry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of jewelry trends, market, and customer preferences.
• Skilled in product lifecycle management, inventory, and supply chain.
• Collaborative team player with strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with merchandising tools a plus.
• Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Jewelry Design, or related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
