Job Summary

The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects related to Home Automation and Lighting Control. Key responsibilities include planning, execution, and close-out of projects, as well as coordinating project scoping, resource forecasting, and leading meetings to clarify design and specification requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills, with 5-6 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in a similar industry. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, is essential. Knowledge of Home Automation and Lighting control business is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain schedules and resource forecasts
  • Coordinate project planning, execution, and close-out
  • Clarify design and specification requirements and arrange for necessary changes
  • Conduct meetings to coordinate requirements of internal and external customers
  • Lead design reviews and team meetings as required
  • Review labor estimates, schedules, execution plans, inspection and test plans, and project oversight plans
  • Communicate schedule updates and progress on design tasks to the Project Manager
  • Maintain awareness of all corporate and local procedures pertinent to engineering, quality assurance, and project management

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Organize documentation, including quotes, correspondence, requisitions, drawings, schedules, etc.
  • Prepare and/or review engineering documentation as required
  • Support continuous systems design improvements
  • Review requests for proposal documents and participate in the preparation of proposal
