Electrical Component Sourcing Expertise: A Key to Driving Energy Transition

At our organization, we are committed to fostering a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and sustainability. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Component Sourcing Expert who will play a pivotal role in driving our energy transition initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with suppliers to source electrical components of the highest quality. This will involve analyzing industry trends, identifying emerging opportunities, and implementing effective sourcing strategies to minimize risk and ensure continuity of supply.

Key Tasks:

  • Develop comprehensive supplier management programs, incorporating metrics, performance goals, and improvement initiatives to drive excellence.
  • Research and evaluate supplier capabilities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish short-term and long-term planning and budget development, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Work closely with vendors to obtain accurate component availability, lead times, and pricing, facilitating competitive procurement and maximizing value for our organization.
  • Study, evaluate, and compare techno-commercial proposals, onboarding suppliers who meet our operational delivery criteria (OCD).

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in vendor development roles for electrical components, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical component sourcing from domestic and international regions, including connections with prominent suppliers.
  • Cross-functional experience in production operations, manufacturing engineering, process excellence, quality, and maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, directly collaborating with senior leaders on specific projects and presenting findings through clear, concise dashboards and presentations.
  • Proven ability to make proactive decisions, drive organizational objectives, and demonstrate extreme flexibility while maintaining assertiveness.
  • Experience in product costing, basic incoterms, logistics cost management, and taxation knowledge is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical (or related field).
