Electrical Components Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Components Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to source high-quality electrical components from domestic and international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure timely delivery of electrical components in line with our business requirements.
  • Identify and qualify potential suppliers based on their technical capabilities, quality standards, and commercial terms.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify opportunities to improve service levels and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and optimize component sourcing processes.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in vendor development or electrical components sourcing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, including switchgears, DC contactors, AC & DC capacitors, current sensors, semiconductors, fuses, and cable accessories.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Cross-functional experience in production operations, manufacturing engineering, process excellence, quality, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of material handling, packing, and freight cost management.
  • Experience with product costing and basic incoterms, logistics cost, and taxation knowledge.
