Job Summary:

Dynamic go-getters who believe in their capability to create a positive impact and wealth are sought after. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing vendors for electrical components with comprehensive knowledge of sourcing from domestic and international regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing all electrical components required in BESS solutions, including switchgears, DC contactors, AC & DC capacitors, current sensors, semiconductors, fuses, cable, and cable accessories.
  • Strategic sourcing management goals implementation, including supplier negotiations for best possible cost service guarantees and sustainable relationships.
  • Evaluation of supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models.
  • Supplier agreements and contracts implementation, working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions.
  • Researching shifts in negotiating power of suppliers, analyzing industry trends, and identifying supply base issues to minimize risk and protect continuity of supply.
  • Participating in short-term and long-term planning and budget development to support strategic business goals.
  • Developing and implementing supplier management programs, sourcing strategies, and metrics to track performance and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive know-how of electrical component sourcing from domestic and international regions, along with connections and networks with prominent suppliers.
  • Understanding of material handling, packing, and freight cost management.
  • Cross-functional experience in Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Excellence, Quality, and Maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and directly collaborate with organization promoters on specific projects.
  • Proactive decision maker for achieving organizational objectives.
  • Flexibility and defined assertiveness.
  • Experience of product costing, basic incoterms, logistics cost, and taxation knowledge is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical (or related field).

Experience:

  • Candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in Vendor Development role for Electrical components.
